Casa Monica Hotel
LOCATION: St. Augustine, Florida
PROJECT OVERVIEW: This over 100 year old hotel had been closed since 1932. After being purchased by the Kessler Collection, the hotel underwent extensive restoration. The original carriage entry was turned into valet parking with the stairwell leading to the upstairs pool are receiving a balustrade system to match the step treads. Decorative grills were added to encompass the outside seating areas and large obelisks on pedestals were placed along the border of the pool to add to enhance the morracan theme of the newly revived hotel.
